Adina Papadimas Secobeanu is a classically trained mezzo-soprano, acclaimed for her expressive artistry and refined technique. Winner of prestigious competitions such as “Paul Constantinescu” and “Hariclea Darclée,” and a finalist at the “Maria Callas” Competition in Athens, she has built a distinguished operatic career. Since her debut in Handel’s Alcina, followed by roles such as Jocasta in Enescu’s Oedipe, she has been a valued member of the Bucharest National Opera, bringing depth and authenticity to every performance.
Bogdana Alexandra Cocîrlea is an accomplished pianist and composer whose artistry blends refined technique with profound musical insight. Renowned for her expressive interpretation, exceptional sight-reading, and ability to master complex repertoire, she demonstrates both elegance and precision in performance. At the age 15 she played the famous Mozart Piano Concerto N.23 in Switzerland. At the age 17, in 2021, she began her opera career as a répétiteur pianist at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre “Maria Bieșu” in Chișinău, she has collaborated with distinguished conductors such as Andriy Yurchevych, Daniel Jinga and Manuel Busto. Since 2023, Bogdana has been a member of the Bucharest National Opera, contributing to a wide range of productions and artistic projects, including performances with the Children’s Choir, ballet and the “Ludovic Spiess” Experimental Studio.
Laura Balla is a Romanian soprano acclaimed for her compelling interpretations of Italian verismo and Puccinian roles, such as Lauretta, Mimì, Liù, Suor Angelica, and Tosca. Her repertoire also spans French and late Romantic works by composers like Massenet, Gounod, Korngold, Dvorak, and Tchaikovsky, showcasing her stylistic range. She studied at the National University of Music Bucharest before advancing her training at the Vienna State Opera, debuting in Manfred Trojan’s Orest. Her career includes appearances at major opera festivals and venues across Europe, including Narnia Opera Festival, Salbek Opera Festival, SoNoRo, and a recent performance as Annina in Eine Nacht in Venedig in Germany.
